Stella Nesanovich, retired Professor of English from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, is the author of A Brightness That Made My Soul Tremble: Poems on the Life of Hildegard of Bingen (Blue Heron Press, 1996) and Vespers at Mount Angel: Poems (Xavier Review Press, 2004) and editor of Points of Gold: Poems for Leo Luke Marcello (Xavier Review Press, 2005). Her poetry has appeared in several anthologies, including Uncommonplace: An Anthology of Contemporary Louisiana Poets (LSU Press, 1998) and Hurricane Blues: Poems About Katrina and Rita (Southeast Missouri State University, 2006), and in numerous journals and magazines, including The Christian Century, Christianity and Literature, Modern Age, Chronicles, Xavier Review, Poet Lore, America, The Anglican Theological Review, and elsewhere.
